Obituary for Elizabeth Sue Johnson

Elizabeth Sue Johnson
ELIZABETH "SUE" JOHNSON

Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, friend, died unexpectedly on 2/7/2016 at age 53.

Sue graduated from Mariner Senior High in White Bear Lake in 1980. A life long learner, she received her Medical Secretary Diploma in 1990, an Associate in Arts Degree in 2002, became a Certified Coding Associate in 2011, and earned a Certificate in Medical Office Support in 2013. She proudly worked as a medical transcriptionist for many years.

She had a quick wit and beautiful smile. Sue was an avid reader on many subjects, and was a passionate fan of the New Orleans band The Radiators. She attended as many of their concerts as possible, even traveling out of state to do so.

Sue had a compassionate heart and was a very thoughtful person. She always sent cards to family and friends for birthdays, holidays and special occasions. She loved all animals, especially cats.

She is survived by her mother, Louise Pardee and partner Joe Schwartzberg of White Bear Lake; father Robert Lee Johnson and wife Nancy of Inver Grove Heights; sisters Cindy (Allen Perry) Johnson of Redwood City, CA, Liz (Tim) Foreman of Minneapolis, Melissa (Bill) Lindau of St. Paul; nephews Bill and Dalton Lindau; nieces Stefanie and Rosalyn Foreman, and Rebecca Lindau; great nephew Owen Lindau, and special friend Tom Carbone.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church, 328 Maple Street, Mahtomedi (wbuuc.org) on March 12 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sue's favorite charity are appreciated: The Humane Society of the United States at www.humanesociety.org

“In the rising of the sun and its setting, we will remember her.”
