Condolence: To Mariette and family

My sincerest sympathies to you and the family. I first met Ron when I started with Midland in 1977. He was the main agronomist at the time. And early in my career he helped me so much answering my many questions. And for a time, right after the LOL merger, I reported into Ron--as he led the agronomy sales team. He was a great mentor. As years went on and as our cooperative system evolved I lost touch with Ron until I started going to the June Midland KIT club picnics the last 3 years. It was great to see him again and visit about the old days. And he was curious how AG is today and the changes in agriculture. I was so impressed that Ron could still wear his gray Midland jacket at the picnic! Ron was so knowledgeable but also such a sincere caring and great person. Blessed be his memory.

Condolence: Ron Johnson Family
As a fellow Land O Lakes employee I first had the pleasure of meeting and working with Ron at the time of the Midland merger and later when he was our sales team lead and manager of the Madelia Service Center. Ron was a kind and compassionate person who always tried to the very best for everyone. A wonderful person and teammate. I also enjoyed sharing sports interests with him, especially high school and Gopher happenings. I will always remember when Ron made a special point of reaching out to congratulate Brenda and me on our children's state tournament run in volleyball and football. By chance a fall or to ago we ended up on the same bus traveling from St Paul Campus to TCF bank for a Gopher football game. We had a great conversation with the Johnson's catching up and sharing. It turned out to be our last conversation, one I will always treasure. May all the enjoyable memories of Ron comfort you during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I had the pleasure of working with Ron for a number of years. He shared the same birthday as my twin sons so it was always fun to joke that we both shared a love for the twins. It's been hard seeing his work space vacant these past couple of months. Ron was a wonderfully, kind and thoughtful guy and we will miss him very much. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.
