Obituary for Noreen Frieda Hampel (Groth)

Hampel, Noreen (Groth) age 88 passed away peacefully on Jan. 1st, at Cerenity of White Bear Lake Memory Care. Born and raised in the Wykoff/Rochester area, she married Norman Hampel in August, 1946. They moved to White Bear Lake in 1966. Noreen is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Norman; and her brother, Norman Groth. Survived by children, Larry (Mary Kopet), Cheryl Hogoboom, Jerry (Bev), Susan (Brian) Boer and Barbara (John) Moser; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation 4-7 PM Friday, Jan. 6th at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 East County Road E, WBL and one hour before service at church. Funeral Service 10:30 AM Jan. 7th at South Shore Trinity Lutheran Church, 2480 South Shore Blvd., WBL. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Cerenity for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Alzheimer Foundation, Alzheimer Association or charity of donor’s choice.
