Obituary for David Clifford Olson

Olson, David Clifford of Mahtomedi, age 54 on January 9, 2001. Survived by wife Ann Wolgamot; brother, Del Olson and sister-in-law Judy, of Baraboo, WI. Preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Estelle. A 1969 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Eua Claire. Dave served in Vietnam as an Air Force pilot and returned home to work as an air traffic controller. Following his graduation in 1986 from the Northwestern College of Chiropractic, Dave entered private practice. He has been involved in advancing chiropractics as a Licensing Examiner for both the Minnesota and National Boards of Chiropractic Examiners and as a member of the Peer Review and Ethics Committees for the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dave was an enthusiastic muskie fisherman in the waters of his native Wisconsin; an avid and skilled private pilot, a fledgling writer and an always hopeful Packer fan. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends and by his many patients whose care and comfort were always his first concern. Memorial service 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 13th, Honsa Family Funeral Home, 2460 East County Road E., White Bear Lake, MN. Memorials preferred to the 1st Wisconsin Chapter of Muskies, Inc., PO Box 122, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.
