Passed away unexpectedly on December 7. Deeply loved by his wife, Julie; sons, Aaron and Jake (Kayla Petersen). Also survived by siblings, Jeff Pitt, Stephanie (Tim) Chukel, Carol Brenna, Allison Anderson, Denny (Marty) Popp, Tim (Toni) Popp; brothers-in-law, Jim (Paula) Schmidt, John Schmidt, Joanne (Ken) Harste; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by mother, Lucille Popp; step-father, William Popp; father, Ronald Pitt; sister-in-law, Joyce Gilman. Steve will be missed by many. He had a quick wit and loved a good joke. He enjoyed time with his family, photography excursions with Julie, fishing, golf, hockey, remodeling projects, and his cats; Jack and Tigger. A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be 7 PM Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 East County Rd E, WBL. Visitation from 5-7 PM. Memorials preferred.
