Died peacefully on March 24, 2018. Miriam was preceded in death by husband Roger; sons David and Mark; parents, Ado & Ida Ranta; and sister Helmi. She is survived by daughter Sandy (Joe) Bowman; son Jim (Vicki); daughters-in-law Nancy Berlin & Nancy Johnson; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brother Clayton (Jane) Ranta. A Celebration of Miriam’s life will be held Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 11 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3770 Bellaire Ave., WBL with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment immediately following at Lakeview Cemetery, Mahtomedi. Memorials preferred to Church Trust Fund.
