Born in Evergreen Park, IL on September 15, 1954. Passed peacefully on August 28, 2018 surrounded by family. Preceded in death by parents Vern and Mary Lou Herman. Survived by husband Ken; children Amy (John), Kurt (Crystal), Keith (Nancy); beloved grandchildren Josiah, Luke, Asher, Delaney; siblings Sue (John)Hein, “Bud” (Lynne) Herman, Kathy (Lenny) Przybyla, Nancy (Tim) McCarrin; and many other loving family and friends. Worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at United Hospital where she mentored many nurses and developed lasting friendships. Active and dedicated member of Parkview UCC. She will be forever remembered for her devotion to family and friends, her zany antics, and love of nature. Visitation 4-8 pm on Fri. September 7, 2018 at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 East County Road E, White Bear Lake; Celebration of Life at 11 am on Saturday September 8, 2018 at PARKVIEW UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST 3737 Bellaire Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN with additional visitation from 10 AM – 11 AM prior to the service at church. Luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall. Memorials preferred.
