While our spouses did not know each other well, you and I Art, shared friendship and work together and I have always appreciated our relationship. Condolence: Art, and family members, we have very fond memories of Char, starting with 1954-55, when we were freshmen at Augsburg. I, Don, rode with Jerry, Char and Art to church many Sundays at St. Petri. We had many conversations -- like family -- and ever since, whenever Art and Char were in this community, or elsewhere, she and Art were cordial, caring, and great Christian witnesses! May all your memories also bring you an awareness of how many ways God has worked in your lives through Char.
