Gerald William Engen, age 83 of White Bear Lake. Jerry worked for Swanson and Youngdale as a painter for 36 years. He was a 21 year veteran and former captain of the White Bear Lake Fire Department. Jerry was a longtime member of the Norske Torske Klubben of St. Paul. Preceded in death by his loving wife Donalyn of 65 years; daughters-in-law Mary Beth and Pam; and brother-in-law Steve. Survived by children Gary (Julie), Jeff, Susan Forcier (Todd Workman), Jim (Laura) and Amy (Jason) Lindstrom; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings Karen (Andy) Johnson, Sandra Werling, Vicki (Ron) Palmer, Steve (Maria)Engen, and Kathy Richardson; many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Service Monday July 24th, 2017 at 11 AM in ST. STEPHEN LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1965 East County Road E., White Bear Lake. Visitation Sunday from 5 – 7 PM in the HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 East County Road E, White Bear Lake and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Memorials preferred to St. Stephen Church, White Bear Lake Relay For Life, or Cure SMA in honor of Zachary Forcier. “Run both ways and hurry back”
