Beloved Husband, Dad and Papa. Passed away peacefully on March 27, 2018. Preceded in death by infant daughters Karen and Mary. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jean; children Joan (Scott) Haskins, John Jr. (Lisa), Janet (Patrick) Mercer, Jim (Tina), Jeff (Katie); grandchildren Dan, Katie (Kyle), Julie (Justin), Brian (Carm), Gina (Rob), Tessa (Mel), Sean, Joseph, Kevin, Lucas, Alex, Zoey, Jacob, and Jenna; great-grandchildren Franklin, Leighton and Liam. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 3 at 11:30 AM at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3878 Highland Avenue, WBL. Visitation 10-11:30 AM at Church. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Jack was a proud St. Paul Eastsider, graduate of Cretin HS (’51) and U of M, US Army Vet and had a 39 year career with Great Northern/BNSF. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Alzheimer’s Association or American Heart Association.
