Preceded in death by son, Joseph Harlan; parents, Chester and Stella; siblings, Art and Elaine (Bill) Unger; in-laws, Joe and Gertrude Riegert. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Joanne Ripley (nee Riegert), children, Julie, Sarah (Phercie) Orille and Ronald. Grandchildren Toby (Natalie), Connor (Erin) and Cecilia; sister-in-law, Alice; and several nieces and nephews. Milton was a 1956 graduate of Monroe High School. He worked for the St. Paul Hotel and was a cabinet maker. He then worked at a pizza parlor until he got a job as a CAD Designer for Buckbee Mears, where he worked for 39 years before retiring. Milton worked part time at a woodworker's store. He was a talented woodworker, Master Craftsman and an all-around handy man. Milton loved to travel, he and his wife Joanne traveled to all 50 states. He was also an avid outdoorsman; he took his family on numerous camping trips. Milton was also the Cub Leader and Assistant District Commissioner from 1976-1993.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11AM Thursday, December 10, 2020 at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 East County Road E, WBL, visitation one hour before Mass at Funeral Home. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, WBL. Due to Covid-19, everyone is required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
