Obituary for Charles Anton Wodicka Jr.

WODICKA Charles (Chuck) A., Jr.
Age 85, of White Bear Lake, MN
Passed away March 2, 2022 with family by his side.
Born June 7, 1936 in Pierz, MN

Chuck was raised in Saint Paul, MN where he graduated from Cretin High School in 1954. He fondly recalled spending the summers of his teen years at his uncle Tony’s (Christine) farm in Osakis, MN. A large amount of time in his adult life was spent at his cabin in Brainerd, MN. He worked at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry at the time of his retirement. Chuck loved his family and friends dearly, and was always generous with both. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Preceded in death by wife Mabel Wodicka, mother Angeline C. Evans, father Charles A. Wodicka Sr., and special friend Judy Peterson.

Survived by children Sharon Heroff, Lori Jensen (David), Jeffrey Wodicka (Julie), 7 grandchildren; Tana, Sara, Ashley, Amy, Rachel, Brianne, Christopher, 5 great grandchildren; Sophia, Ronan, Kora, Adlee, Maylie, and friend Nicole Diederich.

A very warm “Thank You” to all staff at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood and The Pillars Hospice Home in Oakdale for their professionalism, kindness, and compassionate care.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11:30 AM, at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 County Road E East, St Paul, MN with a visitation starting at 10:30 AM.

Private interment at a later date.
