When we remember Uncle Tadesse the first thing that comes to mind is meeting him first time at our children’s graduation party in 2005, which was a momentous celebration of his homecoming all its own. Uncle Tadesse’s determination to visit his birthplace, Eritrea, and his generous and continuous financial assistance to his less fortunate siblings there; and his encouragement to Mishele and Tyler to visit Eritrea and learn first-hand about their heritage was memorable indeed! May his soul RIP!
