Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. December 29, 1939 - Friday, September 27, 2019. Tom was best known for his encouraging words, kind smile and welcoming personality. He enjoyed home remodeling and fishing with his children and grandchildren. He spent his career in retail sales and management, including as the owner of Mattlin’s Appliance in White Bear Lake and a longtime employee of Warners’ Stellian Appliance.
Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Anne (McShea) Marko and brother's in law Tom Ryan and Jim Welch.
Survived by his wife and best friend, Ruth; children Connie (Glen) Zabel, Joe, Bob and Mary Ann; grandchildren Taylor (Ashley), Bailey, Jack and Dylan; brothers Dick (Mary Lou) and Mike (Barb); sisters Kathy Ryan-Welch , Pat Ehrman, Mary Lou (Dick) Moudry; and many other relatives and friends.
A Gathering will be from 1:00 – 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 East County Road E, White Bear Lake, MN.
