Leonard John Vandeberg, age 70 of Hugo and proud Veteran of the Vietnam War, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2020. He is preceded in death by his wife Sharon, his parents William and Dorothy, siblings Janet Halvorson and Charles Vandeberg, and grandchildren Madelyne and Leim Scienski. Leonard is survived by his children Lisa Santi (Tom Seiler), Lance Vandeberg (Amanda Bruneau), Angela Vandeberg, Alisha Vandeberg and Clifford Burton (Jeanette); grandchildren Alexander and Jacob Santi; Matthew Seiler (Kasie Begordis), Brooke Larson Vandeberg and Austin Vandeberg; Nevaeh and Nyla Vandeberg, Brandi, Makayla and McKenzie Burton; great grandchildren Miller Datz and Remi Seiler; siblings Thomas, Dennis, and David Vandeberg, and Kathy Taylor; and numerous foster children. A Celebration of Leonard’s Life will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020, from 3 PM to 7 PM at the Hugo American Legion Post 620, 5383 140th Street N., Hugo MN. The Memorial Service will begin at 5 PM, followed by an Honor Guard Ceremony.
