Passed away December 23, 2020, peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. He is now dancing with his beautiful bride to the song “Red Roses for a Blue Lady”. Preceded in death by beautiful bride of 63 years, Mary Jean; Granddaughter Ann; Great-granddaughter Katelyn; 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Survived by children, David (Gina), Diane (James) Weber, Mark (Tammy), Deborah (Brian); grandchildren, Zachary (Katie), Summer (Jesse), Rachel (Andrew), Davin, Daniel (Courtney), Timothy (Ashley), Brandon (Ghia), Briana(Dennis), Brian(Camille); grandson-in-law, Nick; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Mike was the last of the greatest generation. He served in the National Guard 25 years as a Chief Warrant Officer Meteorologist where he was given the nickname “Mr. Wonderful” that stayed with him the rest of his life because of his wonderful disposition; he moonlighted as a Dellwood Police Officer and retired after a career at The Waterous Company, where he made lifetime friends around the world. Mike was the stereotypical greatest salesman. He was a legend. He loved to spend time at his cabin with family and loved to golf. Dad golfed on a league until he was 87! Anyone who ever met him fell in love with him. He made everyone feel valued. A man isn’t measured by the years he lived, but by the way he lived his life. Dad lived to the fullest to the end loving his family and friends. The family would like to express gratitude to the front line workers at St John’s Hospital.
