Age 49
On Saturday, February 6th, 2021 our lives were forever changed when we received the unexpected news that Brain Peter Bogdanovich had passed away of unknown causes. Brian is preceded in death by his father Lewis and sister Terri. He is survived by his 3 children Samantha, Kayla, and Jacob; mother Nancy; siblings Dave, Mike (Rita), Laura, Susie (Brad) Berken; nieces; nephews; and many more supportive family and friends.

Brian spent his recent time working through his recovery program and spending quality time with his family and friends. Among the many occupations that he had throughout his life, Brian’s true calling was being an EMT/Firefighter when he spent almost a decade on the White Bear Lake Fire Department saving lives.

Brian’s love for life, witty sense of humor, and his staple chuckle will be sorely missed but will be carried out through his children and loved ones for many years to come.

Sending you all my most sincere condolences. I knew Brian from the River Falls area for the last several years. I found him to always be interesting to talk with, and he always talked about how much he loved his children and family. I am so glad I took time to chat with him the Friday before his passing. He was walking through his health troubles so beautifully it seemed. May you hold tight to the good memories, and keep them in your hearts. Laurie Koester

Dear Bogdanovich family, i am so sorry to hear of Brian's death... he will be greatly missed! I had the privilege of knowing Brian in his teens and then reconnecting lately === he loved his family, and serving people, and being a friend.... I admired him as a man of courage who continued to work on his own improvement and to recognize with gratitude the prayer and support and care offered to him. I pray that you may be consoled by happy memories of your times with Brian and with the support of friends in with the peace of God which surpasses all understanding.

God bless and keep you always Brian! You are in my thoughts and prayers!

I'm so sorry to hear of Brian's passing. I had the honor of serving with him on the fire department. Brian was a great firefighter and a compassionate EMT and he volunteered for many events. His kids were 'regulars' at the fire station. He loved bringing them to just hang out and we enjoyed seeing them at all our picnics, Santa parties and more.
The attached photo is from the fire department's 2004 picnic. He won the "Wild Hose Line Challenge" by clinging to a thrashing hose for the longest period of time.
