Mary L.
Of White Bear Lake
March16, 1958 – April 1, 2022
My beloved wife passed away suddenly at home. Preceded in death by her parents James and Cameron McMahon; and uncles John and Philip Cameron. She is survived by husband Ken Schultz; step-children Patty (Dan Wegwerth) Schultz, Julie(Matt Miller) Schultz, Michael (Donnisa) Schultz, Thomas (Michiru) Schultz and William; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons; cousins Nora (Denis) Hanson, Philip (Robin) Cameron, David (Jane) Markham, Steven (Anna) Cameron, Kathleen and Michael Cameron, Christopher (Kirste Johnson) Cameron and Heather (Sean Ploen) Cameron Ploen; special friends Vinnie Crowe and Liz Keenan.
Mary was born and grew up on the shores of Lake Bemidji. She graduated Shanley High School in Fargo, ND, studied literature at Oxford, and graduated from Bemidji State University in 1982. Mary moved to St. Paul upon graduation and worked for the State of Minnesota and later Hennepin Medical Faculty and ECMC in their Human Resources Department. Mary and Ken also owned and operated the Parkview Café and Calms Antique Store in St. Paul.
In 2012, Mary moved to White Bear Lake. Being semi-retired, she worked the welcome desk at St. John’s Hospital on weekends until Covid struck. She loved helping people and working with the volunteers. If you ever ran into Mary and her smile you would not forget her.
A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 11, 2022 at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 East County Road E, White Bear Lake, with a visitation starting 11:00 AM.
