Obituary for Robert Raymond Zenisek

Robert Raymond Zenisek unexpectedly passed away September 4th, 2022 from a heart attack. Bob was 52 years young.

Robert, also known as “Bob”, “Bobby Z”, “Zenny”, “Rob”, and most importantly, “Dad” was born August 22nd, 1970 in Geneva, Illinois to parents Robert and Alice Zenisek. The family moved to Minnesota where he attended and graduated from White Bear Lake High School.

Bob was a master of many things and never did anything half-way. Bob was a lifelong entrepreneur, founding the following companies: Computer Guy of MN, Lynch Gun Dogs – Minnesota English Cocker Spaniels, and Zenny’s Pest Control (ZPC). He never turned a friend away; especially when asked to help fix a snowmobile, snow bike, or motorcycle. When Bob was not tinkering in the garage, “his happy place”, he spent his free time bow-hunting, snow biking out West, riding Harleys with his found family, and enjoying time with his daughter, Makenzie. Bob always wanted to be a "Girl Dad” and so being Makenzie’s father brought him immense love, joy, and pride. Bob, Teri, and Makenzie cherished their beautiful, close-knit family.

Bob was approaching his one-year anniversary working as a Plant Maintenance Engineer at Stillwater Prison. He was grateful and happy to have found this rewarding position he planned to keep until his retirement.

Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Alice Zenisek. Bob is survived by daughter Makenzie Zenisek; Kenzie’s mother, Teri Zenisek, and countless beloved friends, coworkers, and family.

A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 East County Road E, WBL with a visitation one hour before the service.
