Born 11/29/1923 in Rouen, France. Died 9/19/2022. Preceded in death by parents Rene and Bernadette Tranchard; brother Jean Tranchard; and husband Glenn Zschernitz. Glenn and Anne (married 45 years) had met at a military base in Paris, France; married in Detroit, Michigan. They had six children, many grand children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Anne Marie lived the rest of her days in White Bear Lake, MN. As a child she and her family survived the Nazi occupation of France. Anne Marie attended the Prestigious French School of Nursing in Paris, and began her nursing career at the Mayo Clinic Hospital.. Anne Marie loved to play piano, quilt and knit with her friends at church, word puzzles, reading, cook and traveled throughout Europe and the United States. She was a devout Christian. She loved to eat plenty of chocolate and her sense of humor was endless. Anne Marie was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Service will be held at the Community of Grace Church, 4000 Linden Street, White Bear Lake, MN 55110 on Saturday, October 1. Visitation begins at 10:00 am, service 11:00 am. Lunch will follow after the service at church.
