Robert John William Aakhus was born on December 21, 1977 in Heidelberg, Germany. He attended grade school in Munich, Germany and Riverside, CA, Bemidji Middle School in Bemidji, MN and Highland Park High School in St Paul, MN. Robert also known as “Rob, Bob, RJ” was a soft-spoken gentle soul, with a ready smile and wonderful sense of humor. Robs love for family and friends truly shined thru at gatherings and celebrations. He treasured the times playing games, eating his favorite food “Hamburgers”, fishing, boating, hanging out with his friends, and special times playing cards with his grandmother Mary Jane. Rob loved the calm and peaceful feeling of strolling the beach and being on the water, so going for pontoon rides at his Aunt Sharon and Uncle Ray’s home was a pleasant bonus. Rob felt honored being a son, brother, cousin, friend, and took great pride in being an uncle to his nieces and nephews.
