Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Friday, April 28^th. A long-time resident of White Bear Lake, MN; born in Cannon Falls, MN to Einer and Alice Waslie. She met her husband Jim at the movie theater in Cannon Falls while working the candy counter. They later learned they were both born on July 1^st but 1 year apart. They married on May 16, 1953, at First English Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls, MN.  

They moved and started their family in Red Wing MN. In 1956, Jim’s job with Northwestern Bell Telephone Company took them to Rochester, MN. In 1965, Beverly and Jim settled down in White Bear Lake. She loved raising her family and being a homemaker. Beverly was known throughout the neighborhood for her fabulous cookies and were often traded at school by her children. When Jim retired, Beverly decided she wanted to try her hand at working at the McDonalds off of County Rd East. A part-time job that she enjoyed turned into twenty years of employment.  Beverly was a proud grandmother to humans and animals and made sure all were spoiled equally.  Spoiling was also reciprocated with gifts of chocolate, candles and Precious Moments figurines.  Drinking coffee, shopping, ironing and visiting with her friends and family were her favorite pastimes. 

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Jim Simanski, parents, Einer and Alice (Wagner) Waslie: sisters, Arlene Thompson (Donald), Hazel Morinelli (Pete): brothers, Merlyn Waslie(Joyce), Darreld Waslie(Margaret) and beloved dog, Sandy. 

She is survived by son, Steven (Christine) Simanski, of White Bear Lake, MN:  daughter, Barbara Shie of White Bear Lake, MN: son, Mark(Julie) Simanski of Birchwood, MN: son, Lee Simanski(Pamela) of Maplewood, MN:  son, Matthew(Kimberly) of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Kaitlin, Nicholas, Tracy, Tyler, Dylan, Paige, Trevor, Devon and Ethan; great-grandchildren; Leland, Hattie, Rosalyn,  Hailey, and Calvin
