Guadalupe “Lu” (Solis) Lopez age 94, of Vadnais Heights, MN. Passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family.

She was a community activist. Lu worked at Ramsey Action Programs and The Neighborhood House as a Director for many years. After retiring she founded a community program called CLEO. She was very involved with the DFL.

Preceded in death by her husband Cesario in 2014.

Survived by her children Donna Colburn, Ron, James, Linda Martinez and Daniel; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother Valentine “Val”.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Honsa Family Funeral Home, 2460 East County Road E, White Bear Lake, MN. Visitation will be from 10 AM – 11 AM. Interment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
